Letters from the Front

Andrés Sosa, a 24-year-old soldier at the northern front, writes home every week, and every Thursday one of his letters reaches his mother’s kitchen in Buenos Aires. One night, during a retreat, Andrés is wounded and vanishes from every list. The telegram says “missing”. But the letters keep coming, right on time, every Thursday. Only Lucía dares to look closely: the handwriting on the latest ones is not his. Someone is writing in Andrés’s name.
